Internet-Surfing

 

The Nürtingen Town Library provides access to the World Wide Web for its members. Please observe the following conditions:

 

1. Please register first: either at the Information Desk on the 1st floor or by telephone 0 70 22 / 7 53 62. If you cannot keep the appointed time please cancel as far in advance as possible. If you are late for your appointed time for more than five minutes then your place may be given to the next person on the list.

 

2. Reservations are limited to one half hour per member per day.

 

3. This offer applies only to members who are at least ten years old.

 

4. The use of the internet is included in the annual fee for those members who hold an annual membership card. Surfing is free of charge for members up the age of eighteen. If you do not hold an annual membership card an internet usage fee of 1 € per ten minutes or part there of will be charged.

 

5. Library staff members can only offer limited help in case of problems.

 

6. The lines are busy at certain times of day. The library cannot be hold responsible for busy or crashed servers.

 

7. Print-outs are chargeable: 0,05 € for black & white and 0,10 € for colour print-outs per page. Please pay at the Information Desk.

 

8. Wilful damages to the hard- and software will be liable to prosecution. The member is liable for damages caused by illegal or inappropriate usage. Parents are responsible for their children.

 

9. It is forbidden for the member to access a side which contravenes the law for the protection of minors and the member is not allowed to make internet purchases.
